[Link to Opensea] This week's company earnings is going the other way then I expected. When I saw SCHW's stock price go up, I was really surprised because JPM and Citi didn't really move much last friday. I was kind of dumbfounded until I eventually nodded my head and said to myself, 'yes, this is because Schwab was sold off in a such fearful sentiment, which was irrational, and now when they post a good earnings/sales, it just makes sense to go up to its intrinsic value - it was underappreciated for so long!'. And I was kinda sore, because I bought SCHW about a month ago, but decided that it was a risky bet and moved the money to buy Nextera Energy instead. Now I am remorseful with my decision. Then today, Tesla's earning came out - it was a good beat, both sales and EPS! yet their operating margin went down, and that made the stock price go down by a small bit. (4%) I don't know what to say about this, because I have no idea how Tesla will do, and even l

[Link to Opensea] Dad passed his Housing Manager test today! He still has the 2nd round test to go, but since he passed the 1st round, the burden seems a lot less. To congratulate this rare occasion, our family went out to eat Samgyupsal barbecue for dinner. It was very good, juicy and tender, smoky flavors coming from charcoal, and we even had barbecued Gosari(fiddlehead) and Deoduck(lance asiabell). After that, our family went to a coffee shop to get some drink. I had hot chocolate and Croissant-waffle. Really tasty dessert, was really good too. Now after writing this diary I am going to watch 'Better Call Saul' from Netflix.

[Link to Opensea] I haven't written my diary since... forever. So I suddenly have this urge to write something, anything- but sadly I don't have much to say. Today was a really hot day. Sun was scorching, and the air was humid. I had to turn on the air conditioner for a really long time, continuing even now as I write this. I am seriously feeling concerned for the humanity's future. Will Earth's temperature rise even more as time pass? Have we really passed the 'safe limit'? But we can't transition to clean energy that fast, because we are using traditional fossil fuel energy on literally everything. Even if we develop clean energy infrastructure fast enough, fossil fuel will be even cheaper, which makes them a really attractive energy source for many countries. I can only hope that we adapt to this new-normal environment, faster than the changes Earth makes.
