The big earning season starts! Well, the real start was actually last week, but there weren't that many tech related companies. JP Morgan's earnings stated that banks were going to be okay. Now this week, we have lots of semiconductor related stocks (ASML, LAM, TSMC, etc.) and some super popular growth stocks like Tesla and Netflix. If they deliver less than expected, I think the market could turn bearish. On the other hand, if they deliver good results, it might be a confirmation of a new bull market - even if it is transitory.
As an investor who invested quite a bit (75%) of my portfolio in stocks, I do hope that they deliver excellent earnings report.
